Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian.

If you don't already know, I can be pretty OCD about certain things, and packing is certainly no different.  With a little less then 2 weeks to go before the Big Move, I figured its time to start packing this little home up.  I figured what easier way to spend the next few days boxing all of our belongings up then with this handy-dandy packing kit I made up.

I found this storage caddy at Walmart for only $2.70 and filled it with a few supplies I thought would be nice to have on hand and not scattered throughout the house.  My packing box consists of the following:
  • Clear packing tape to tape up the many boxes we have.
  • Sharpies to mark our boxes.  I have each box marked by room and then what is in it.  That way when we actually do the moving the boxes can go directly to the correct room and avoid any extra lifting and carrying.  'Cuz who wants to do extra work on an already tiring day.
  • Scissors/box cutters
  • Red Duct Tape!  To mark all those FRAGILE boxes.  Hopefully it will grab my movers (a.e. the Mr. and his friends) attention before they chunk a load in the truck.
  • Pledge and a rag.  Sorry guys but you definitely find areas that haven't been dusted in a while, and why carry that dirt to a new home?

Here we are all packed up.

Molly decided to be nosey and became my doggy model today.

So hopefully we can get this packing up mess going good this week....I would certainly take any helpers, free of charge!!
