#projectbathroomreno Update

Well, have we not just dropped off the face of the planet with the bathroom project!?  Actually, we've had a lot going on and have slowly been getting the boring stuff done in the bathroom.

I'll spare you all the minuet details about cutting and installing backer board and drywall.  I'll just catch you up with this quick update, and the pretty floor tile pictures.

Since it's almost time for the fun stuff, let me fill you in on what's been going on with the bathroom saga.

When we last left off, we were installing the lights in the bathroom

Once we could actually see what we were doing in there, it was finally time to bring in the bath tub.  This required a little bit of plumbing and reconnecting the drain.  And, our bathroom friends are now long gone!  Whoo-hoo!

Next came adding the backer board to the shower walls, drywall to fix the hole from tearing out the previous shower, and backer board went on the floor.

So that pretty much catches you up to today.

We have the floor tile cut and ready to start laying and grouting it, which will happen tomorrow.  Hopefully by this weekend, the flooring will be complete!

I love the look of this dark thick floor tile.  The white grout (I know, I'm going to hate it, but it's going to look so pretty) will really make the charcoal tiles pop!
