Stitch Fix {July Beach Vacation Review}

I had to take a little hiatus from Stitch Fix recently, I may have gotten a little carried away with all the fabulous new clothes.  But, this month, I was in need of something specific and I wasn't having any luck on my own.  I needed the help of my Stitch Fix Stylist.

In my note to the stylist, I told her about our upcoming beach trip and that I was looking for something nice to pair with my husbands white polo and this adorable peplum top with soft pink shorts I snagged off Amazon for A.  Meredith sent me several options that would match their outfits. Let's see what she picked out for me.

Renee C - Rosanne Faux Suede Swing Skirt

First out of the box was this oh so soft suede skirt.  Did I mention how soft it was.  This skirt was butter.  I liked the pattern on it and thought pairing it with a chambray shirt or the Areli Blouse and sandals make up a nice beachy outfit.  Overall, it just wasn't my fav.

Verdict - Returned

Octavia - Barry Striped Infinity Scarf

Next up was this beautiful infinity scarf.  I really liked it.  Meredith had suggested that I take if for the cool nights on the beach, but I just don't think a scarf feels very beachy and it was super HOT.  I may totally request this again come fall.

Verdict - Sadly Returned

Collective Concepts - Areli Lace Inset Detail Blouse

I really liked the color of this blouse, but everything else about it wasn't my cup of tea.  Meredith had suggested I pair this with jeans or the Rosanne Faux Suede Swing Skirt.  It doesn't look bad tucked into the skirt, but I felt it was too short to go with jeans.

Verdict - Returned

Everly Coralynn Dress

This dress is what really caught my eye coming out of the box.  I loved the splash of color and thought it would pair nicely with my husbands and daughters outfits.  I was seriously holding my breath though on the length.  I felt it was the perfect length.  The criss-cross on the back was lovely and I felt totally comfortable in it.  I think this would be a perfect outfit for the beach.

Verdict - Keeper

Brixon Ivy - Atami Lace Sleeve Blouse

Last up in the box was this white lace sleeve blouse.  I did like it and thought it paired great with my floppy beach hat.  I just wasn't loving the random lace strip down the middle.

Verdict - Returned

I'd say this box was a ok.  I loved the Everly dress.  It will be a perfect beach outfit to complement our family.  I can't wait to give it a whirl next month.
