Fogue's Do The Beach

Last week, we took a little trip down to the gulf coast for a week with some friends and their kids.  It was a great time, minus the rain that seemed to have followed us home.  So be prepared for some photo over load with this blog post.

Sunday

Sunday was our first official beach day.  Someone woke up excited to hit the sand only to realize that she doesn't really like the sand all that much.  We spent the entire time on the beach blanket reaching over to dig in the sand.

Monday

Monday was heaven.  The weather was beautiful despite a threat of rain and I got to spend the morning out on the balcony enjoying my coffee.  This my friends is the good life.

Tuesday

Tuesday we decided to hit the town.  First we did a little shopping and the girls played on the playground.  This slide was Aspen's favorite, she kept going back to it.  I think if we had let her, she would have spent the entire day here.

After lunch we headed down the coast to a local science museum.  It was great for the little ones.

Dad to the rescue!  Thank goodness he saved her from this huge shark!

Wednesday

Wednesday was our last somewhat pretty beach day.  We got out to take advantage of the day before the rain came in.  Aspen had finally gotten use to the sand.  She had fun collecting seashells and really didn't want to leave.

Thursday

The rain really came through Thursday so we went on a little lunch outing to Fudpucker's so that Aspen could feed the alligators.  That evening cleared up so we snuck in a dolphin cruise.  If your ever down in Destin, we highly recommend AJ's dolphin cruise.  It was the best!

Photobomb!

The girls had fun dancing to the music

We tried to feed the seagulls gold fish, they were picky little things.

It was a wavy adventure but the dolphins gave us a great show.

Friday

Friday was our last day.  We were able to manage a little family beach photo session before heading out for dinner.  (Yay for tripods and remote clickers.)  By now, Aspen loved the sand!
